The National Park of the Emus
locates in the call Central Plateau, in the Southwest end of the state of Goiás,
in the municipal districts of Miners and of Plain of the Sky, among the
coordinates 17° 50' to 18° 15' of South latitude and 52° 30' to 53° 10' to west
of Greenwich, already in the border with the state of Bush-thick of the South.
They are two access entrances to the visitors, one to 25 km. of Plain of the Sky,
for the gate he/she Keeps of the Flag that takes to the headquarters of the Park
and other to 80 km. of Miners, for the gate Jacuba.
They are 131.868 hectares of reservation, where the visitor can observe, besides
the rich vegetation, rapids of crystalline waters, animals as Deer-cowboys,
anteater-flag, Wolf-Guará, Emus, Araras Canindé, Toucans, Sucuris and other
several species

Trail 1 - That course of, approximately, 50 km is ideal to be done of car. For
the road he/she goes by several landscapes as the savannah, the clean field and
Rio Jacuba's headboard. Animals as deer-cowboys, anteaters, emus and wild birds.
During the walk it is possible to stop the car and to do some trails. One of

1.Get vaccine against yellow fever 10 days before traveling. 2.The area has a problem of time zone. The park is in the border of GO and MT and the states has difference of 1 hour in the spindle. You will not know that hours are. Usually he uses the schedule of Brasília, but your cellular will show less 1 hour 3.If go in the summer that difference increases in 2 hours. 4.You can sleep in Chapadão do Ceu or in Alto Taquarii to visit the park. 5.Beetwen October and February the "cupinzeiros" are phosphorescent at night. The lightning bugs are inside of the "cupinzeiro" and the stuff is seeming an illuminated model building. It is amazing 6.To see the bugs the throw it is to visit the park at nightfall or to the dawn. 7.The emus are out of the park. They can be seen in the plantations around the park. You will make sick of seeing emu. |
